انا ليلى بن قاسم، بش نشارك في التراميراج ونجري 50 كيلو متر في الصحراء التونسية الجميلة يوم 28 سبتمبر. لحقيقه عمري ما كنت نحب الرياضة، اما قررت نتحدى روحي وبدني ووقتي، وهاني قاعده نتدربب. نوعدكم نعدي خط البداية وادعيولي نوصل لخط النهاية.

بش نجري لصالح جمعية الجوهرة الرياضية، فريق بسكات البنات في بني خلاد، علخاطر أصعب حاجه تلقالها تمويل هي الرياضة النسائية، فما تمويل وتشجيع ودعم لبرشا حاجات، والرياضة النسائية ديما في اخر قائمة الاولويات... بنات الجوهرة كل وحده بطله، علخاطر رغم الصعوبات والإمكانيات والتحديات المادية والاجتماعية، البنات متمسكين في حقهم كرياضيات ويستأهلوا التشجيع.

كل التبرعات بش تستخدم لشراء حاجيات رياضيه لبنات الجمعية، كأحذية رياضيه، ملابس للفريق ومعدات للتمرين ومصاريف تنقل... وإذا لمين برشا برشا برشا فلوس بش نحاولو نصلحو الملعب اللي في حاجه لبرشا صيانة!

My name is Leila Ben-Gacem, I will be running Ultramirage’s 50k race in the beautiful Tunisian desert on the 28^th of Sept. I was never a sports person, but decided to challenge myself, my body and my time, and I am working hard running as much as I can. I promise to cross the start line, and pray for me to cross the finish line.

I am going to run for Jawhara Sports Club, it is a girls basketball club in the Tunisian town of Beni-Khalled. I am running for Jawhara, because fundraising for women sports is the toughest thing to find funds for; there is funding, support, sponsoring, for all sorts of things, but women sports is always the lowest in the priority lists… Jawhara girls, are all heroes, because despite difficulties, lack of resources, socio-economic challenges, the ladies are attached to their right to be athletes, and deserve to be supported.

All funds will go into buying sports equipment, shoes, clothing, travel costs, and if we manage to collect a lot of money, we might be able to fix their stadium or showers, which is in desperate need of maintenance.
